Head Down Coding

Numerous headhnters include a certain percentage of “head down coding” in the job description.

If you employ ten software engineers to perform this “head down coding” your project will appear as if a herd to turtles created you deliverable.

Each software engineer slowly plods off in their own direction “doing their own thing”.  While this approach is typical for many development shops it is the least productive.

Instead of focusing on head down coding management should focus on identifiable patterns and use scripting and source code generation to make the computer perform those perfunctory tasks.

Computer generated source code allows for accelerated application development.
