Chaka Khan (born Yvette Marie Stevens, 1953) is an American R&B, funk, soul and pop legend known as the Queen of Funk.
She rose to fame as lead singer of Rufus and later became a global solo superstar.
With Rufus, Chaka delivered classics like "Tell Me Something Good", "Sweet Thing", and "Ain’t Nobody".
The band dominated 1970s funk and soul radio.
