     sudo nano /etc/acpi/default.sh

• Modify this line to disable sleep mode. For example, you can change it to a no-op command or comment it out if the system should not react to power button presses for sleep:

• Save and close the file using `Ctrl + X`, then press `Y` to confirm changes, and `Enter` to save.

• You can test if your system still hibernates or sleeps when you press the power button by pressing the power button on your computer (if it has one). If sleep is disabled, nothing should happen.

• Open XFCE settings by clicking on the XFCE4 icon in the top panel and selecting "Settings Manager" > "Power Management".
• In the power management settings, you might see options to disable sleep mode. Follow the instructions to turn off sleep mode if available.

• After making these changes, reboot your system to ensure that the new configuration is applied:

     sudo reboot
